Xiomara gave a laugh then took a sip of her beer. "I'll say. One can always rely on Severus to make the punishment very, very unpleasant." He shook her head fondly. "I'm glad that man's back at Hogwarts. I missed the snarky bastard. He's just so delightfully Slytherin."
She arched an eyebrow at Quin's look even as she shifted slightly to give him a better look. She liked what she looked like now. She might be an old chook but she could give some of these younger ones a run for their money, even beat a fair few of them.
"I wouldn't say no," she said with her own hint of wistfulness. "I do miss playing professionally."
She roared with laughter and gave him a very wicked grin. "Oh, I know that one," she said, her grin getting even wider as she thought of Higgs. "I confess I've been feeling very young of late." She almost dared him to ask with her grin then laughed again.
She took another sip of her beer and shrugged. "Apart from the occasional dream of being fit enough to play in the League again? Not really. I'd reached the point of retirement and I was wise enough to jump before I was pushed. The kids drive me up the wall sometimes but when you still get the brilliant player or two coming through... well, it kind of makes it all worthwhile. There are worse things to be doing in retirement."
