Xiomara was grumbling as she walked through the village to the Hog's Head. Bloody students. She could kill the lot of them. The last thing she'd needed today was to have to break up a brawl between the Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch teams and then have to deal with the punishment of all involved. She'd been tempted to penalise them by declaring their next matches a forfeit but that had been too harsh a punishment for her to really consider seriously. So instead she'd taken points and assigned them detention with Argus and with her. They'd regret that brawl if for no other reason than she intended to make them sorry they'd made her late tonight.
She gave a sigh of relief when she saw the pub. She wasn't too late and Quin would understand. She paused for a moment outside the pub and smoothed down her robes and ran a hand through her hair to get it more or less under control. She then opened the door and strode inside.
She saw Quin at the bar and sauntered over. "Quin! How are you?" She sat down next to him. "Sorry I'm late. The little buggers decided to lose their collective minds and I had to sort things out. You haven't been waiting long, I hope?"
She turned to smile at Aberforth when he shambled over and she smirked at the disreputable act he put on. "Give me a beer, Aberforth. Something good, not that swill you have on tap."
Her smirk turned to a broad grin as Aberforth winked at her then pulled a Stella Artois out from under the bar and presented it to her along with a glass with a flourish. She waved and waved her thanks then when he shuffled off to the other side of the bar, she opened the bottle and poured the beer into the glass.
She took a long drink then sighed with relief before giving Quin a nudge. "How have you been, you bastard? It's been ages since I've seen you."
