"I'm better than I was. I wake up before twelve normally and I'll even get up before nine without a shift on the odd occasion," he replied, knowing it annoyed Stephen no end that he had no schedule whatsoever. "I just like catnapping in the day. I know it's not healthy but I like it."
He sat up, moving around until he was straddling Stephen's lap and could look at him properly. "No point having regrets, baby. He loved you, he knew you were happy before he died, he made things right and he knew you wanted to too," he said softly. "And you're inncredibly stubborn but I like it. It makes you you."
Adrian grinned at the question. "I wouldn't have said we could go if I didn't want to. We'll get dressed and go there, and we can stay here tomorrow and relax all day, head to the castle either late tomorrow or early Monday morning. Does that work for you?"
