"Can't help my shifts," Adrian said with a small, rueful smile. "Although my new quill should be able to help with the length of them. And your father would have been horrified by my lack of a schedule as a child. I had a tutor, obviously, but that wasn't until the afternoon so I could stay in bed until then if I wanted."
Adrian scratched at his stomach, thinking about it. "I don't know. The whole getting dressed thing is putting me off the idea, I'll admit," he said with a small smile. "I just feel that we should be making the most of a weekend with no interruptions or something. We hardly get to go out anymore with my job and other things."
