Romilda honestly didn't know what to think, but she could see that he was obviously upset by her little spat.
As much as she wanted to lash out at him, and tell him just how much it was hurting her feelings, she realised something. Something that Nick had been trying to tell her.
It didn't matter what she felt. She was a ghost, and Anthony was not her true purpose for still being here. "Well to women like Millicent, and to myself, when a man promises to love her forever, she would at least expect a decent amount of mourning time. A year or two -- at the most. Any more than that's ridiculous."
She was still bitter, but knew that there was not a bloody thing she could do about it.
