Ernie blushed a little, pleased that Anthony wasn't going to make an issue over his bisexuality. He hadn't thought he would but he'd had problems here and there in the past. "Terry Boot. But... keep it quiet please. This... whatever it is between us is kind of new and I don't want to bugger it up in any way."
He accepted the vial from Anthony and immediately pulled the cap off and swallowed it down. He really needed something to help him survive the day. He grimaced at the taste but it didn't take long before he could feel its effects. "Thank you," he said with relief then he chuckled. "Oh, don't worry. I intend to sleep for as long as humanly possible when I get home."
"It's a private men's club though it does permit women to come in as guests and membership is by invitation only," he explained. "Its membership includes both Muggles and wizards. It acts as a genuine casino but has dining facilities as well as a variety of other entertainments from reading to swimming or indoor sports to billiards to other kinds of games or pretty much anything else you might want. They even have rooms if people want to stay the night." He grimaced. "Their rules are very strict and you have to have a bank account, preferably Muggle but they'll accept an wizarding account at a European bank, that they can access to pay for whatever you do there."
He paused and his face darkened a little. "There membership also includes people like the Lestranges but the rules are even more strict about this sort of thing. Politics are to be left at the door. Strictly no fighting or anything like that in the club. If can't behave yourself, your membership will be revoked and punitive fines imposed. You also can't use the club to stalk another member to someplace where you can fight. Same sort of penalty." He paused. "And when I say punitive fines, I mean it. Fines of the type to bring you to your knees, even bankrupt you. They're serious about this."
