"Excellent," Ernie said with a grin and a quiet thought went through his mind that asked whether anything really did mean anything. He blinked at that... apparently his subconscious was not at all adverse with the idea of this being a date. "Pool's fun. My Dad taught me how to play. I've got a pool table at the estate so I could teach you if you like. And we can also have a bit of a flutter at the tables as well. I've got a line of credit here... have to have one to have a membership.. so that's not a problem."
He laughed as Terry's face lit up as he talked about charms and took a sip from his gin and tonic. "You could ask the manager about the charms but I doubt he'd tell you anything about them. The club's a little secretive about things like that." He felt oddly pleased when Terry said he'd rather just spend time with him and his smile widened a little. He decided he should probably not think about that too much. "I hope Ben didn't mind you coming out with me tonight?"
