"Oh, don't worry. They're not allowed to hurt us or bother us either," Ernie explained. "That's why I chose to come here even though I knew there might be Death Eaters here. I was assured when I booked in that the club that we wouldn't be bothered." He grimaced. "They know what happened to me... well, the basics, not the details... and they view it as their job to ensure all of their guests enjoy themselves and are not bothered while here."
He waited until Terry had ordered his drink and the waiter had disappeared but before he could say anything Terry spoke. Ernie smiled broadly, telling himself firmly that he was not feeling anything beyond simple friendship. He really wasn't.
"I'm glad," he said with a hint of relief. "I know this place isn't to everyone's taste but there's more to it than what most people think. We can have a look around after dinner and see if anything here is to your taste."
