Ernie nodded his understanding. "That's okay. I'm sure they can get us to the apparition point, if nothing else."
He had to catch himself from drawing in a sharp breath when Terry's fingers rested against his palm, telling himself firmly not to be stupid. Nothing was meant by it, Terry was just touching the portkey so they could get to the club.
He nodded, suddenly realising how close they were standing and he quickly activated the portkey, letting it drag them away to London and the Casino. He was able to land with a fair amount of grace for once in the opulent foyer of the club but Terry didn't seem to fair so well and Ernie quickly caught him before he could fall. He blushed as he realised the position they were now in but didn't let Terry go until he was sure that the other man was standing firmly.
When he did, a tall exotic-looking man glided over and bowed respectfully.
"Good evening, Mr MacMillan," the man said smoothly before turning and bowing to Terry. "Good evening, Mr Boot. Welcome to the Casino of Sidi al'Nasir. May I take your cloaks?"
"Thank you," Ernie replied as he pulled off his cloak and handed it to the man. He turned to Terry and hurriedly assured him, "You're my guest so I had to tell them your name when I set this up. They like to know who is in their club."
