"I'm pretty sure I tried dirt as a kid. And grass likely," Harry said as he skimmed over the letter. "It's experimenting. He's not saying feed her a diet of it."
Sighing softly Harry turned his attention back to her, "It sounds like he said a lot of what you said John said. Let her experience things. If she's really upset, or hungry, or needs to be changed it sounds like she should be picked up. But just because she makes a sound doesn't mean we should." A lesson he'd have to learn as well.
"It does sound like we have been over pampering her, I hadn't realized she couldn't even sit up on her own." Though he knew next to nothing about human development either. "Maybe if instead of holding her so much we just let her play on a blanket more when we're in the room. Terry says it shouldn't take long for her to develop the muscles on her own if we let her. We don't have to stop holding her completely." Thankfully.
