Severus snorted; he suspected Poppy had said more than that but he didn't push. If Terry was foolish enough to ignore any of Poppy's advice, he could face the consequences on his own. Severus had a healthy respect for Poppy, even if he didn't always follow her instructions himself.
"You do realise that they are hardly likely to be the only... unpleasantness to occur?" he said briskly as he got to his feet. "You must find some way of dealing with such things without it being detrimental to your health." He paused on his way to the door to his private workroom and gave Terry a look of wry amusement. "To avoid the scoldings from Poppy if for no other reason."
He walked into his workroom and over to his potions cabinet. He deactivated the wards and opened it, pausing for a moment to think then pulling out a small flask. He re-established the wards and returned to his office.
"This should be sufficient," he said, holding the flask out to Terry. "A small glass-full before you go to bed will help you sleep though I recommend trying some relaxation exercises for it to work to its full effectiveness."
He gave Terry a long look. "And I was serious about what I said before. If you allow these things to eat at you from the inside, you chance doing considerable damage to yourself, physical and mental." He paused before saying with a sigh, "I speak from personal experience."
He had not treated himself well after he had killed Albus. His grief, guilt and ridiculous need for self-flaggellation had ensured that.
