'He's five, though he would insist on saying five and a half.' She smiled. 'He turns six in April,' she said proudly.
'And you're a flatterer, she added at his comment about liking to hear her blabber. She nodded about time, knowing what he meant. 'I would think it's a bit less of a predator when you live for hundreds of years, though,' she said with a smirk. 'Not that I understand how you can live with losing all the people you care about, however,' she said. 'No that is one thing I could never handle.'
He really did miss Sanguini, and in that moment she felt so close to him. She smiled, then leaned up and brushed her lips against his. 'I think your company will be greatly appreciated,' she said softly.
