To that statement Lucius could not do much but agree. Just as Don had made a mistake with Damian, Nicholas had with Theo - if only more so. Nicholas was a very much crueller man than Don, and he was not wise enough to keep the cruelty from his home.
'A birth certificate should not be too much trouble to find,' Lucius said with a nod. 'Even with the war there must be some public records - and if now Severus has taken over the custody, something must recently have made the mother indisposed.' He pondered the situation, then shrugged, the identity of such a foolish woman did not interest him much, even as he chuckled about the boy's name.
'Fitting indeed, he said with a smirk. 'And I'm sad to hear he's taken such precautions. But surely we must find a way into Hogwartz eventually. With the right insider it should not be that hard.' He smirked. 'Crouch managed once, Quirell the fool did the same, and my own son managed to bring Death Eaters inside.' There was a hint of pride in his voice. 'As clever as my son is, he was only sixteen at the time - it should not be that hard for a grown man.'
He took another sip. 'Anyway, as interesting such plans are, those aren't why I'm here to speak to you today,' he said changing the subject. 'I think I've finally managed to come up with a way to stop Dolohov and his love for Muggle firearms. It's far from a perfect method, but it would get the main job done. It's time this war was fought like wizards instead of Muggles, don't you think?'
