"You could have found someone else. It certainly would have been less of a hassle." Percy had believe that Cass would have never settled down, but then Cass had a way of surprising him.
"You're not allowed in the kitchen. Aiden knows to call me if you even attempt to light the stove." Aiden had loved the idea of keeping an eye on his dad, even though Percy knew that Cass would never even try to cook.
He sighed. "Don't say that. You should not compare him to me, not that way. You never know when he's listening." There was no perfect solution about Aiden's schooling. "No, I don't think it's better, just safer, but your idea is an good compromise for now."
Percy took Cass' hand. "I always have great suggestions," he said amused, before walking upstairs with Cass as his side.
