As Cass listened to Percy explain he could not help but to be impressed. He knew he'd never manage to get out of that question quite so smoothly, and he was once more glad to have Percy by his side. When it came to the second question though, he felt odd. Like he knew something but couldn't put his finger on it. A memory filtered through, of his father talking to him, but it vanished again as soon as it had appeared and trying to hold onto it was like trying to hold onto water.
He couldn't shake the feeling that he knew something though, but he kept it to himself, because as Percy said, no one could know.
Watching his son, he dared himself for the first time to reach out and touch him, slightly nervous that Aiden would shy away from the touch. Aiden looked at him, but he didn't move away, so he guessed it wasn't too bad.
