Cass looked at Percy, smiling a bit, then following the boy inside. 'I take it that means we did all right?' he asked. 'If you want anything changed, just let me or Percy know.'
He pondered if it was spoiling the boy saying that, but decided that it didn't matter. He wanted Aiden to like living here after all. He sat down next to him on the bed, reaching out and scratching Plato behind the ear.
He wasn't sure how to begin this. Aiden seemed happy with the information he'd received and didn't ask more questions which would have made it all the easier. Bringing it up again seemed to be making it bigger than he wanted to. He looked at Percy again, as if searching for something to help him in his face. He wasn't sure if it was Percy or not, but he suddenly remembered something and looked at Aiden again.
'You know, when I first stayed here, this was my room,' he said with a smile. 'The room looked different then though,' he said, lowering his voice a bit. 'I didn't have any snitches on my bedding though I wish I had. I spent quite a bit of time in here after all, it was another time I was sick and Percy took care of me. Percy is really good at taking care of you if you need him too,' he added with a smile.
