Aiden's eyebrows went up and he looked at his father, and then at Percy, giggling when he said his dad was silly. 'Boy's aren't cute,' he then declared. 'Only girls are, everyone knows that!'
When Percy stood up, he looked between him and Cass, biting his lip. He wasn't sure about holding his father's hand. He hadn't decided if he liked him or not yet. He liked Percy though, and he did want to see the dog. Hesitating, he stood still for a moment, even as Cass held out his hand for him, before finally taking Cass' hand. He didn't want to do something to upset Percy after all.
'Does he bite?' he asked, because Nana had said that strange dogs could do that. It didn't sound like it though, and he didn't mind dogs that jumped. If it wasn't really big dogs. He hoped it wasn't a very big dog and held on a bit tighter to Cass' hand. Not because that meant that he liked Cass. He didn't know that yet.
