She was so tiny, he thought. He felt like he could break her by looking at her wrong. But that didn't keep him from holding her that extra second to let her know that he was here, and that he did care how she was doing.
"Good to see you too. Sorry I've not been around much the last week or so. Stuff came up." His apology was sincere, though his explanation was vague. He figured that if Ginger were here, she must be trusted to an extent, but Lee wasn't taking any chances these days. Hestia would likely understand.
"Are you sure you haven't been pushing yourself too hard?" he asked, absently smoothign down a stray lock of her hair. In truth, Lee had something of a crush on the brunette, a liking that developed more strongly whenever he was around her but was curbed by the knowledge she hadn't been single that long and he was somewhat similar, at least, to the man she had lost.
"I'll have whatever you're having," Lee said, easy to please as he generally was. "Is there somethign I can be helping with?"
