Lee was always more than happy to come to Hestia's for dinner and to watch the children. He missed his family more than he'd suspected he would, even after being back all this time, and Hestia's home gave him a sense of belonging.
He worried over Hestia, though. She had so much on her shoulders and tried to do it all herself. He wished he could help her more--he hated to see the signs of stress all over her pretty face. There were times he wished he knew it was okay to just wrap her in a tight hug, but he always held back from more than casual contact and one armed hugs--he knew that he reminded her of her deceased lover, just like he knew that Valerie sometimes mistook him for the same man.
He knocked on the door, Bane at his heels, but he sometimes let himself in as well, depending on what he thought she needed at the time.
