'You're complaining?' Pansy said incredulously. 'I got the most gorgeous fur coats....' She wrapped her arms around herself, grinning happily. 'I can't imagine why that girl that married Antonin Dolohov wears the stuff she does when he has such good taste.' She shook her head. 'What did you get?'
Coats made her think of robes which made her think of the Auror benefit. 'Oh!' she cried. 'February 14, Valentine's Day, there's going to be a benefit for the Aurors. You need something for that!'
It took a moment for her to remember they were talking about Polly.
'What?????' she cried a little shrilly, her eyebrows disappearing into her hair because her eyes got so big. 'You wouldn't dare!' she breathed, horrified at the thought of a mud covered daughter.
Finally catching on that he was teasing, Pansy flushed. 'That was just mean!' she told him, giving him a glare.
'Yes, but that was a charms book!' Pansy protested. 'Why isn't there a decent book about raising wizarding children available???' She frowned and then sighed, making an annoyed face. 'For the same reason that so many other things aren't available, I guess....'
