John looked at her and her notes and rolled his eyes. "It doesn't have to be ten minutes exactly, Pansy. If it's colder you bring her in sooner, and if she's having fun, let her stay out, but yes, ten minutes gives people enough vitamin D."
He started to laugh at the answer. "Yes, I'm aware of that. That's how children learn, by touching and chewing. She'll do it even more once she starts teething, which should start sooner than you think. Let her chew on anything she wants." He decided that it was too general for Pansy. "Unless it's dangerous of course, no knives, guns, chemical products."
He smiled at her, and decided that what she was supposed to do was to develop some common sense, but she was such a child herself. "All right, let's assume that she's eating too often," he said kindly. "It's a sign that your breast milk isn't enough for her, and besides breast milk doesn't have enough iron. I know you'll probably frown on this, but I would suggest Muggle formula and cereals. The natural way is best, and sometimes it needs to be helped. Get some iron formula and iron cereal, the infants type," he underlined. "A tablespoon of cereal twice a day, mix it with the formula, and use a spoon not a bottle, even if that makes a mess. If she still looks hungry, will add more. We should have her back on track in no time. Oh, and Pansy, keep track of what she eats from now on, at least until she gains weight again."
