"I have a wand and I know how to cast warming spells," Percy said, with a hint of a grin. "In fact, I can even levitate the food upstairs and have dinner in bed if that's what you want." He was slowly giving up at the idea that his bedroom was sacred. With Cass, the dog and the cat, it had turned into a second living room.
"Except now that you've resigned you aren't making money and until you can get out of the house, you won't make more, now will you? Cass-" he said in an exasperated sigh. He lov- cared for the man, but he was so impractical at times. "How did you survive on your salary? Because I have no idea how you managed."
He chuckled. "I hope that wasn't the way," he jokes, knowing that Cass likes sex too much to turn it into a job of any kind.
