Cass sighed, running his thumb along Percy's lips. 'So why is it OK for you to spend your money on me, but not OK for me to spend my money on you?' he asked. 'Or are you trying to pretend that those robes you bought me for Christmas were cheap?' he asked with a raised brow, knowing fully well that they weren't. He knew quality when he saw it, and Percy had spent time and effort getting him those robes.
He wasn't beneath using that fact to prove a point. Regardless of what Percy said, he was a Slytherin after all. He smiled softlyl. 'Can't you just accept that I have the one thing I want the most already in you, us, what we have here. I just like to give you something nice for your birthday, that's all.'
'And don't you dare to take away the right for me to take care of you, you take care of me all the time. It's only fair that I get to take care of you too. Get used to the thought.' He leaned in then, kissing Percy again, letting his fingers move through his curls. When he pulled back he leaned his head against Percy's. 'Don't worry so much, Percy. You'll find I care a lot less about money now than I used to.' He smirked. 'I don't have an image to uphold any more after all.'
