Bill had lost track of time. It was out of character, but then things had been off in general for a good while now. He'd been on the roof, fixing a shingle that didn't really need fixing, and by the time he'd come down he'd only just had a moment to take a shower, dress and leave for his meeting with Theo.
Consequently, Bill's hair was still a bit wet and he was breathless when he reached the door. He straightened his robe, put on a professional face and knocked. Two minutes late. Not earth-shattering, but still..
