Cormac couldn't fathom what that might be like. Having an illness that magic couldn't help. Even when the pox had gone around, Magic had eventually come through. Injuries were different of course, he just had to stand on his leg for too long to know that, but an illness that couldn't be cured was...horrible.
"You're doing the right thing," he said finally, even though the selfish part of him wanted his whole family to stay together. He knew though, that Seamus had to go take care of his niece and aunt. "Monday? So soon?"
He followed Seamus' gaze up the stairs and felt his heart sink as Emma's soft giggles carried down to them. "Do you want me to tell her?"
