Verity gave him another small smile. In truth, it did lift her spirits a bit to have the pretty bangle shining in the sun filtering through the room. She felt terrible for the small comfort. "It's beautiful," she repeated.
"What options?" she asked. She could tell he was trying to step around information and she would not have things hidden from her- this was her husband.
"And how many people are you telling about this? I want to be there," she stated firmly. She was tired of being inactive in trying to find a cure for whatever was wrong with him.
The mention of the library made her feel at least a little hopeful and she nodded with a bit more energy. "It doesn't take much energy to sit in the library," she pointed out. "Perhaps I'll begin tonight."
