Adrian didn't comment on the tone although he'd definitely noticed it. "I doubt it too. Once people stop fearing him, things will change. He's made no friends in the past few decades and too many enemies," he answered.
"I can't believe it or I can believe the objections... Weasley is the most uptight pompous-" He looked at Cass and grinned somewhat contritely. "I'll hold off on the insults but he's him and you're you. Then again, I suppose enough people have said that about me and Stephen."
Adrian's disposition changed instantly at Cass's next words and he sighed, having hoped that it wasn't as bad as he'd feared. They'd only been able to rescue Stephen because of well-placed friends and the knowledge of where he'd been taken. He could only hope that Cass knew the same or it'd be virtually impossible to find her. "Do you know where she's being held? Christ Cass, I don't even know where Rodolphus is hiding at the moment. It's certainly not at their base."
