"I used to live for it," she admitted casually. "I don't know, when most of the news is bad news anymore, you stop listening." She didn't like the gloom that was creeping into her voice much at all, but it was honest. She felt tired- physically, mentally, emotionally.
Again with the blinking. "As air-headed as I come off, I do understand protecting yourself and your family," she comforted although she was a little insulted at being looped together with Rodolphus.
"You know you sound just the slightest bit creepy right?" she said, the same teasing tone in her voice as she looked at him side-long. He'd been candid with her and she hoped he didn't mind it returned. "Every house has it's strength, I suppose. I'm sure I'm not the only one who just wants all of this over with, though."
