She grinned at him, "of course." She really was grateful for him sitting here and entertaining her, even making her smile and laugh a little. He didn't know the service he was doing her, but she did.
"That's true with most of us," she agreed with a nod. "It made Hogwarts easier, but Monty won't get out of bed for much less than a natural disaster and from what I've heard from Theo, the other guys from his year were the same way in Hogwarts. It must be all of that non-stop schemeing wearing us out."
The frankness surprised her but even in that surprise she chuckled. "Well could I trust you to protect her from him? No, no, if the poor girl looked like me it would likely be over," she agreed, joking still. It was nice to be able to relax about her animosity with Adrian and to know that Stephen didn't seem to hold her to his mates standards. A quirky smile was on her lips, "that would be something to see," she admitted.
"So do you have any ideas? Other than charming a twin off unsuspecting women at socail events."
