There was a moment when Antonin spoke, mocked her, that she could feel herself lose it. Suddenly her mind went dark, pitch black with anger and she could feel every bit of dark magic Troy had placed in her wanting to lash out at him, hurt him in ways he could never dream of.
Then there was Justin's voice, breaking through the anger, the magic, and she looked at him with pleading eyes, wanting nothing more than to make all of this go away.
But Antonin wouldn't stop, he pushed and pushed and the dark magic fed off him in ways she couldn't nearly start control. She didn't even know what spell that left her when it lashed out, blacking out all her conscious thoughts as it attacked the threat.
Somewhere inside her Millicent was wondering what was going on.
