Had he been younger, he would have stuck his tongue out, but as for now he settled for chuckling a bit. He took the wand from Percy, frowning at how unfamiliar and clumsy it felt. He could tell even before he began that this wasn't going to go well.
Still, he concentrated, trying to find a good grip at the wand before aiming the wand and casting a simple transfiguring spell at a quill. It was his biggest strength, and this was one of the first spells he'd learnt to master.
Now though the wand in his hand didn't do much but send out some pretty sparks. He sighed.
'It feels all wrong,' he said handing the wand back to Percy. 'And I don't know if it's the wand or me but it won't work.' He couldn't help but to look a bit disappointed when he looked up at Percy, even if he tried to keep focusing on the rest of it, and on Percy's question.
Now that was something that would annoy Umbridge to no end. No doubt she'd say no just to annoy Percy.
