He had a point, Morag mused. And Parkinson had a daughter. Maybe it wasn't just Potter trying to protect his girlfriend. Maybe they were both trying the little girl. 'Why don't people just come to us to ask for help?' she asked irritably.
'No,' Morag said finally. 'He's pants at politics. Isn't even interested in it, certainly not for himself. He's the type that would want to be left alone to ride out obscurity,' she decided. She shrugged. 'He could do a lot worse than Parkinson,' she had to admit.
'But if they're trying to keep it secret, she's not going to bring him sailing,' she said. Then she laughed. 'But it explains why she isn't interested in anything besides flirting!' she giggled. 'And I'm sure it wasn't her idea, initially!'
Morag laughed again. 'You were supposed to fall for that!' she protested. 'It always worked! And just look where it got me that time!' she said happily, waving her hand at their lovely boat and her expanding tummy.
'At the pool. With children,' Morag said. 'I bet some of the newer parents haven't gotten to take their little ones swimming yet. And the older kids enjoyed it so much the last time....'
