He didn't even try to move while Percy was away, his body too relaxed, too heavy. When Percy returned he smiled, instinctively. He hardly noticed himself the way Percy's presence could make him smile.
The cloth was cool against his heated skin, but his didn't let that bother him, instead he played with Percy's hair, listening to him speak.
'It's OK, I don't expect you to say it,' he said. 'I don't even need you to, as long as you're here with me.' He didn't doubt Percy's feelings, knew he'd never have agreed to come out if he didn't want to spend forever with him. 'You might have to live with me saying it though,' he added, smirking. 'Though I'll try not to overwhelm you.'
The yawn that left him as Percy put the throw over them was completely involuntary, and he buried it in Percy's hair. 'I'm being very patient,' he protested just a bit. 'For me at least.'
