Percy decided that it was best if he did get up before he said something truly idiot, or started to cry for real. The last time had been when the twins had locked him into that pyramid, but that had been out of illness and frustration. This felt a lot worse.
He stood up and grabbed his wand. When he was in the bathroom, he cast a spell on himself and then found a towel and wet it before returning back to the living room.
"You won't have to be without me," he said as he started to clean Cass up. "I'm not going anywhere. I might not use the words. I- I can't, not yet, but I'm here for the rest of our lives."
Percy finished with the towel and leaned back down. He grabbed the throw and used it to cover their bodies. "We'll get you well, Cass. You need to be patient, though."
