Cass sighed. 'That's what worries me, though Percy keeps claiming that he's done this longer than me, and that he knows what he's doing.' He shrugged. 'Apparently, the Wizengamot is needed to replace the head of Aurors, any attempt to change those rules, would also need the Wizengamot. Since there is none, Percy should be safe, or so he believes.'
'Then again she managed to name herself minister without the Wizengamot, so who knows what old rules might exist that no one bothered to look at for the last three or four hundred years.'
He smiled. 'Percy has the support of most of the Aurors though, and if she tries he intends to issue a warrant for her arrest. I guess it's up to what the Aurors dare to do then - and which side they'll end up taking.' He hoped the support Percy had was strong enough, and that those who had been disgruntled by the fact that he had no Auror-background when he was appointed now had changed their minds. All they needed was a division within the office.
