Pansy beamed at him. 'Good,' she said, satisfied. Although she was a little miffed at being lumped in with that Macdougal girl.
'Oh, it would be fun!' she told Cass. 'You're fine with Harry and me, and having Percy there would just make it all the better,' she decided, sure of herself. She grinned. 'As if I would let the person you were involved with not like me!' Percy had never had a chance. Pansy had been determined.
She looked at Cass in surprise, not sure why he was laughing. She blinked a few times, but gamely went on with what he was saying. 'I don't get that. She's a girl. And what's to not like about shopping?' She shook her head. 'But Merlin knows the girl needs help. And I could do that. I don't know if she noticed, but she's making no attempt to make her pregnancy discreet. She's just wearing tents! Pretty colour for her, though. She got that much right....'
Pansy had a horrific thought. 'Oh, my gods, that poor baby! Oh, it will be dressed in rags!' she moaned. 'Oh, something has to be done about that!'
She thought about the poor child and the poor child's mother. Biting her lip, she looked up at Cass. Hesitantly, she said, 'Do you find anything odd about the girl?'
'Ooooooh!' she exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. 'Ooooooh, would you??????' she breathed. 'Oh, I'll buy you whatever you want if you'll just help me get that man some better things!' Her whole face was shining. 'Draco helps out and sends him things, and very rarely, Harry gets it right. But generally, unless Draco or I bought it, it's complete rubbish!' she giggled. 'And I adore him!' she beamed. 'Do you want to know what I'm giving him for his birthday?' she asked excitedly.
'Oh, no!' she moaned. 'That lovely little villa? And the pool?' She pouted. She had loved having the pool just outside the window like that. She'd thought it was the most beautiful thing for a vacation place.
