Pansy laughed. She'd not thought about Nathaniel having his own toys, actually. She wondered if he had wooden spoons and metal pots. Those were Polly's favorites.
Pansy tried to picture Theo letting his son sit in the kitchen with a spoon and several pots, banging away, almost burst out laughing again.
She looked towards the girls, making sure they were still in sight and safe. 'I don't know if you heard, but Millicent has taken up with someone....Justin Finch-Fletchley. Do you remember him? Anyway, she had a miscarriage a while back, and she's just not been able to bounce back from it, so I invited Ella to stay with us for a few days. Polly just thinks she's the grandest thing, and I'm teaching Ella all about being a princess!' she said.
'Horses? Oh, I know she'd love that. She loves to ride the broom, but I don't go nearly fast enough to suit her,' she laughed. 'And fairies? I didn't know you had fairies!' She rather liked fairies, herself, and she knew Polly would be fascinated by them.
Hearing that Liam was a regular visitor, Pansy said, 'Oh, so I suppose that you know all about the whole pirates thing. Liam, and Ella, and Ben Boot...that's all they talk about! And did you know that Antonin Dolohov bought himself a pirate ship? He calls it a boat, of course, but all it needs is a pirate flag waving from the yardarm or whatever,' she waved her hand up in the air, 'and that's what it would be. Ben is positively ga-ga over it!'
She cast her eyes to the side and gave Theo an impish grin. 'He told me that he'd made up a room on the boat fit for a lady such as me,' she confided. 'He is just the most delightful flirt!'
