Percy wasn't sure that 'fine' really qualified as the appropriate word, but didn't argue. "Give me a moment. Let me take care of Plato, make sure your cat is still alive and check on Hermes, and then I'll be back. I'll get you some water and food as well. You might want to try and eat something."
He wasn't gone long, since thankfully everything was in order. Plato didn't seem to care one way or another about the cat, and the owl ignored all of them.
He went back to the bedroom with water and some fruit. He'll worry about what to feed Cass later. He doubted that with the pain Cass wanted to eat at all. He also wasn't surprised when Plato walked behind him. "Someone wants to say 'hello'," he said as he put down the water on his night stand.
"Easy, boy," he managed to say before Plato's paws were on top of the mattress, and he was eagerly licking Cass's cheek. "He missed you, too."
