Still not completely trusting his voice not to betray him, Cass merely nodded at the question. He was relieved to be sitting down again, the pain easing somewhat to that of moving. If anything, this experience indicated just how long and hard this recovery would be. Cass wasn't exactly thrilled with the prospect.
Helping Percy help him out of the night gown, he collapsed back on the bed, a light sheen of sweat having broken out from the exhaustion and pain. Lying down helped though, especially as this bed felt a lot better than the hospital bed.
It smelled a lot nicer too. It smelled of Percy.
'Lie down with me?' he asked, looking at Percy. 'And stop looking so worried, I'm fine - or will be in a minute or two,' he amended.
