Percy's arms around him made it all feel slightly better, though not good enough that he actually wanted to risk talking. Opening his mouth would mean risking a rather loud groan of pain and he wasn't sure Percy would take him home if that was the case.
Instead he kept his mouth firmly shut, his teeth grinding together as he forced himself to ignore the pain and take the watch Percy offered. It was just for a few minutes, he told himself as he held on, allowing Percy to steady him - and himself - before touching the portkey to set it off.
Cass could not quite master to keep up his act of not being in a lot of pain on landing though, as a long litany of obscene words left him. At least swearing was better than crying out which was the other option right now. Still, they were at least at home now.
