Fenrir snarled when the woman disappeared. He whirled around as he waited for her to reappear. He hadn't heard the sound of apparition so she could have used a portkey. Either way, this was getting out of hand. They had no guarantee she had not apparated back to Auror Headquarters to get reinforcements.
They couldn't afford to stay.
He whirled around again and grabbed hold of the man he'd just killed, dragging him hurriedly towards the undergrowth. He yanked him through the low bushes, ignoring the branches that poked at his skin, ignoring everything except getting the body undercover.
Once that was down he hauled himself out of the bushes and loped over to Natasha. He could smell the burnt fur but he didn't take time to examine what had happened. They needed to get away before the Aurors descended on them. They could take a few but not more than that, not without back up of their own.
He growled with frustration then howled. Once he lowered his head, he nudged Natasha then broke into a run, heading away from Hogsmeade.
