She was going to need something stronger. Dora had already jammed a chair underneath the door knob, knowing that would only help for so long. Looking around the room frantically, she could only come to one immediate conclusion. The window; it really was her only way out. The door wasn't going to last forever.
This was going to be lovely. Shimmying down the window and into the streets before headed God only knew where. Part of her wanted to run straight towards Umbridge's designated transformation area, if only to confirm that her husband was there. She couldn't think of any other wolf who would think to come to this house with such a purpose--
"No," she said under her breath as a thought came to mind. "Why would-- how." She was a stubborn creature and she refused to believe that it was Fenrir Greyback and his mate outside of her door. They couldn't possibly consider her worth this much trouble.
Or could they? Dora blinked once before she began climbing up on the window sill. "Remus?" she shouted out. "Remus, if that's you just... just stay in here, alright? Please just stay here. I promise I'll be back in the morning, but you and I both know you're going to regret this. If-- If something happens. Stay here. I'll go to the Dolohovs', but just stay. Your friend too."
Her instructions were likely futile, but if it was Remus she wanted him to hear her voice. Here how bloody terrified she was so that just maybe something would click.
