"Oh," Faustus said and for a moment he wanted to duck away despite Harry's hand on his shoulder. Then he remembered what his father had told him and he straightened up and raised his chin. He was Faustus Snape, Severus Snape's son, and he wasn't going to be intimidated by anyone. At least not outwardly.
"I guess that's what he meant," he said quietly to Harry. "He told me that people might say derogatory things and I should ignore them. He also made sure I knew everyone I should avoid tonight. I guess he and Draco had this planned." He looked up at Harry. "People wouldn't actually do anything here, would they? It'd be pretty stupid."
