Pansy was, of course, running late. She had supervised Harry's preparations because she was afraid that, left to his own devices, he would have chosen something other than the robes she had bought for him. And she did so love the light grey robes she had gotten. He looked so very handsome in them....she just wanted to look at him and enjoy the sight.
He wouldn't let her. At least, not nearly long enough.
But it had all led to her being very, very late. She had chosen some lovely rose colour robes for herself. She knew she wouldn't be allowed near Harry all evening, but his grey robes complimented hers spectacularly, she thought. And she'd found a lovely little outfit for Polly, a light grey dress trimmed in a pink that was the very colour of her own robes only lighter. It was actually a blend of both Harry's and her robes, but she told herself no one would notice that.
Well, Harry might.
Not liking anything that she'd brought from Millicent's house for Ella, Pansy had gotten her some pink robes that went nicely with Polly's dress. And she'd given her a lovely little necklace to wear so she'd feel like a princess.
Of course, now she was late. Later than she'd ever been, perhaps, and she knew Draco would notice. But at least she didn't have to worry about appearing too quickly after Harry. She just hoped she hadn't worried him.
