"It's just a bit strange to be out in public without a persona to play," Adrian admitted before frowning and looking in Malfoy's direction briefly. Or in the direction in which he could hear Malfoy's voice. "And Malfoy isn't allowed to flirt with you, you're my husband."
Adrian snorted a little. "If the Lestranges could get their heads out of their arses long enough, they could win this thing. It's a good job they're all insane and obsessed with Muggles," he said, flicking up a Privacy spell even as he spoke, appalled that he'd been so lax. "I need to keep you safe or I get paranoid, don't eat and drink copious amounts of whiskey. You staying safe keeps me sane and if you scoff at that, I'll make William tell you."
Adrian stayed close, one hand moving up to tangle in the curls at Stephen's neck. "We'll have a routine soon enough and you can be sickeningly happy with it. I'll stay in bed and ignore you both," he teased cheerfully, too excited to pull off sarcastic.
