'I knew you would,' Cass admitted. 'It was me, after all, and I knew how you felt about sharing,' he said softly. 'I kept telling myself that the pain I put you in would be less than the danger you would be in otherwise.'
He moved to rest against Percy as he relaxed in the bed, letting his hand fall to rest on his chest. 'And I probably should be sorry that my actions forced your hand,' he sighed. 'But I'm just so happy to have you back I can't be sorry for anything but the time we spent apart.'
He smiled a bit. 'And I'm rather glad you didn't look at other blokes, you could have found someone and then it would have been too late for me.'
