"I'm sure you will," Percy said, ruffling Cass's hair, before putting his arm around him. He knew this was only the start. They had a way of moving around until Cass was resting against Percy.
"That's okay as long as you don't drag the Aurors in the middle of whatever Slytherin power play there is. Let me take care of that." He knew it would happen regardless of whether he wanted it or now.
Percy kissed Cass softly. "You can worry all you want, but it won't change anything. You'll find out soon enough how people will react and then you'll know who you're real friends are. Until then, there is no sense in getting aggravated."
