Neville nodded when Ginny said that they would need to leave soon and reluctantly pulled away, but held her hand a little more tightly than usual. "Thank you Parvati. Letting everyone know would be a great help."
He tried to give her a small smile in thanks but he wasn't in a good place right now, thinking was even too strenuous. However, they needed to get to London, and he would have to gather up every shred of courage and coherence he could.
Turning to Ginny, he kissed her forehead and looked at her with watery eyes. "We should go... I'll go and get his Will, and some Euros... pack a bag..." Neville felt a squeeze to his hand in answer, basically saying that she would be with him every step.
"Thank you again Parvati, I hope everyone understands why we couldn't linger to tell everyone." Ginny herself had broken away for only a moment to write an owl to Percy. "I'll just be upstairs." he said sullenly, walking toward the large staircase in his parents' house.
