Terry ran a hand through his hair and settled against Stephen. Just for a moment he wanted to forget about everything and let Stephen handle it all. But he couldn't do that, couldn't keep expecting Stephen to clean everything up. It wasn't fair, and it wasn't friendship. He pulled away finally and managed a small smile.
"Thanks," he said, squeezing Stephen's hand. "You always manage to point out the important things." He stood, steadier now than before. "I want to go over the wards first, see if we can pinpoint where they came in. If we can't, and maybe even if we can, I'll suggest--strongly--to Ernie that we move to Hogwarts." He looked down at his 'clothes' and realized he should probably shower and change before doing any of this. "I'll talk to Ernie too, about why the Death Eaters would be after him. Again." Like they hadn't done enough damage the first time.
