Cormac shrugged, but didn't comment. He knew from experience that Ginny wasn't the most tidy of people, so it stood to reason her brothers weren't either.
"You're very rude," Emma announced, standing with her hands on her hips. "I don't like you! And you don't get to be a pretty princess! So there!" Before Cormac could say anything else, she had flounced away, and he heard the door to her room slam.
He blanched and sighed. "Sorry about her, she's nervous around new people," he tried to explain. "And I'm as good as can be expected. Bored out of my skull. The Healers have no idea why I'm still limping. They're doing new tests next week, so I'll have a better idea then."
He realized he'd been rude and said, "Have a seat. Can I get you anything? Tea?" He really hoped Percy would turn him down. He wanted to know what had brought Percy to his house. He hoped it was work-related.
